On August 2nd, 2020, Owensboro and Daviess County lost one of its greatest citizens with the passing of Jack T. Wells. A successful entrepreneur, developer, and businessman, Jack was an ardent ambassador for all things related to Owensboro and Daviess County. He gave selflessly of his time, talent, and treasure to many not-for-profits through the years as he believed they made Owensboro and Daviess County a better place to live for all of its citizens.

Through his last will and testament, Jack directed that all of his assets be left to form a charitable trust to benefit Daviess County charities. Currently, the Estate is in Probate and will be for several months. Once it has moved out of Probate, the Trust will announce the process for applying for grants. Until then, we honor Jack T. Wells for never forgetting where he came from.
